Connecting to Wi-Fi (4STREAM)

Overview

This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your VANGOA device to a Wi‑Fi network for the first time using the 4STREAM app.

Once connected, you can enjoy wireless streaming from your favorite music services.

Before You Begin

Please make sure you have the following ready:

  • Your VANGOA device powered on and within range of your Wi‑Fi router
  • A smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) connected to the same Wi‑Fi network you want to use

The 4STREAM app installed:

  • iOS Download 【iOS 10.0 or later】
  • Android Download 【Android 7.0 or later】
  • Tip: For the best performance, we recommend using a 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi network. 【2.4GHz Wi‑Fi network only】

Step‑by‑Step Guide

1. Power On the Device

Plug in the power adapter and turn on your VANGOA device.

Choose Wi‑Fi Mode and wait for the Wi‑Fi Mode LED indicator to flash rapidly (this indicates that the device has entered setup mode).

2. Open Settings on your phone/tablet

Select WLAN and wait for a prompt sound. You will then find a network in the network list with a name similar to VANGOA‑P30‑XXXX. Select to connect.

3. Open the 4STREAM App

Launch the 4STREAM app on your phone/tablet.

If this is your first time using the app, allow it to access your location and local network (these permissions are required for device discovery).

4. Add Your Device

Tap the “+” icon or “Add Device” in the app.

The app will scan for nearby VANGOA devices.

Select your device from the list.

5. Connect to Your Wi‑Fi

Enter your Wi‑Fi network name (SSID) and password.

Tap “Next” and wait for the device to connect.

Wait for the setup confirmation prompt to appear on your phone screen.

6. Test the Connection

Play a song from Spotify, Tidal, or your local music library through the app.

If the music plays smoothly without interruption, setup is complete.

Troubleshooting

If your device cannot connect:

  • Make sure you are using a 2.4GHz network (5GHz is not supported).
  • During setup, keep your device within 5 meters (16 feet) of the router.
  • If the P30 cannot connect to Wi‑Fi, the Wi‑Fi Mode indicator may flicker slowly; this means the P30 automatically entered standby mode.

Please press and hold the WPS button on the back for 6–10 seconds until the Wi‑Fi Mode indicator flashes rapidly to restart the device, then try again.
